SIPFLEX GUIDE

Connect an AI voice platform

Select the platform in the Sipflex portal so its SIP template is applied without manually entering every provider-side routing field.

What the profile does

A built-in profile pre-populates the Sipflex SIP template for the selected platform. Depending on that template, this can include the remote endpoint, transport, number format, codecs and related routing values.

It does not configure the third-party account.

You still create and manage the agent, application, credentials and call behaviour with the platform itself. Profile names identify compatible templates and do not imply certification, endorsement or a commercial partnership.

Route all account numbers to one platform

  1. Sign in to the Sipflex portal.
  2. Open Voice → Profiles.
  3. Edit the default profile.
  4. Select the required platform from the Connection Type list.
  5. Review the values inserted by the template and save the profile.

Use the default profile only when every number already assigned to it should follow the selected route.

Route selected numbers

  1. Open Voice → Profiles and create a new profile.
  2. Give it a clear name, such as the platform or application name.
  3. Select the platform connection type and save it.
  4. Open the number or Line Manager area.
  5. Assign only the required Sipflex numbers to the new profile and save the changes.

Complete the platform side

Follow the platform’s own SIP or BYO-telephony documentation. Use the number, authentication values and routing details shown in Sipflex. Do not assume that the authentication number has the same format as the E.164 number presented for inbound routing.

Exact inbound, outbound, encryption and transfer support varies by platform. Sipflex does not publish field-by-field instructions unless those settings have been documented and verified.

Verify before production

  1. Call the Sipflex number from another network.
  2. Confirm the expected agent or workflow answers.
  3. If outbound calling is configured, place a test call and check caller ID.
  4. Test two-way audio and DTMF where the application uses it.
  5. Test transfer behaviour separately if the platform uses SIP REFER.
